Exposing a Coordinated Scheme
It is time to shine a light on the calculated actions of Association Management Group (AMG), Kirk’s-Sineath Towing, and Battleground Tire & Wrecker Service, all of whom played a role in a scheme that trampled on the rights of a veteran and her guests. Under the direction of the Keswick Place HOA, managed by AMG and shielded by the Law Firm of Carolinas, unauthorized tow requests initiated by board member Joni Garrett were carried out repeatedly, targeting the complainant and her visitors without lawful justification. This was not a one-off mistake—it was a pattern of deliberate abuse cloaked in the guise of HOA enforcement.
Failure to Stop the Cycle
Each party in this chain of misconduct had the power—and the duty—to put an end to the cycle. AMG had the responsibility to oversee fair and lawful management practices; the Law Firm of Carolinas had the obligation to advise against unlawful actions; and both Kirk’s-Sineath Towing and Battleground Tire & Wrecker Service had the choice to refuse illegal tow requests. Instead, every one of these actors chose complicity. By prioritizing their own interests over justice and fairness, they collectively sanctioned an environment where discrimination, intimidation, and the stripping away of rights became normalized.
Demand for Accountability and Change
We cannot allow these actions to be swept aside as “business as usual.” This is a call to action for accountability, transparency, and reform. AMG, Kirk’s-Sineath Towing, Battleground Tire & Wrecker Service, and the Law Firm of Carolinas must be held responsible for their part in enabling and carrying out this scheme. The veteran who stood at the center of these violations—and the community at large—deserve more than hollow apologies. They deserve a system where no one’s rights are sacrificed for convenience, where management companies, tow operators, and attorneys act with integrity, and where the law is upheld rather than undermined. Now is the moment to demand change and to stand against those who enabled injustice when they could have chosen to stop it.
